I just got word this week that I will be getting a Press Pass to cover the HP Byron Nelson Championship in Las Colinas, TX (suburb of Dallas) for TGS (http://www.thegolfspace.com/) in about a month.
In the preceding weeks I will be preparing articles about Byron Nelson himself, a history of the tournament, and a preview of this year's tournament.
It's held at the gorgeous TPC Four Seasons course in Las Colinas (http://www.fourseasons.com/dallas/golf.html), and the tournament is organized by the Salesmanship Club in Dallas (http://www.hpbnc.org/salesmanshipclub/). Over the years this organization and the Byron Nelson Championship has raised over $100 million for charity, which puts it at the very top of PGA Tour fundraising efforts.
